Clippings, endnotes and reaping the Twitter harvest
After posting, I realised that in last week’s Curios, I just ploughed straight into my list of stuff without a preamble. I am not sure how much you appreciate the preambles, but we are back with one this week. It has been challenging in my neck of the woods over the last week or so and has made us all have a think about our place in the universe. I hope all is well with you and those around you.
We have a particularly interesting range of curios this week which I hope you enjoy.
Video of the week
You have probably already seen this. It arrived on my radar just a few hours too late to make the cut for last week’s curios. The video is a podcast in which a sympathetic interviewer talks to Professor Jo Boaler. It seems to have been recorded between Boaler learning that Stephanie Lee was writing an article about her and the article being published. It’s worth listening to Boaler’s side of the story. I think I am the person she refers to who has direct instruction books to sell.
