Conferences of the week

There was a World Education Summit this week. If you missed it, you missed the chance of hearing from thought leaders for just £360 ($660 AUD). Some of the speakers looked good. Some of them. See if you spot your favourite gurus and prognosticators. I am sure articles are being written as I type that will soon be published, demonstrating the value of this summit for shaping the future of education. You will be reading them soon, no doubt. In Victoria, we had our own Age School Summit. It’s fine that they did not invite me to speak this year. It’s not a problem at all. As I have made abundantly clear before, I don’t mind. Really.
